"My eyes gaze at nature and her gentle colors with a childlike appreciation. Thankful for the passion to create, I try to express this beauty through my brush and treasure the fulfillment it brings!"
My passion for watercolor first began as I reached retirement and had more time to exercise my skill. I find so much joy in staying in my pajamas, sipping coffee and mixing colors with my brush. Working with watercolor is a very loose and unpredictable technique and I find that it has taught me so much about life as well. Sometimes my paintings are framed and others are tucked away in a drawer. I am truly thankful for the spirit and privilege that pours from my brush and I hope that you enjoy these paintings as well.
Daffodils always prove to us that springtime is finally here! In the Pacific Northwest, we seem to have to wait a long time for these bulbs to show their yellow bonnets and when they do, it's all uphill from there!
